We apologize for any inconvenience as our webstore was down from yesterday afternoon. It was a minor internal glitch that has been fixed. Welcome to Cyber Monday!
Since we couldn’t do any blogs earlier I wanted to note this sad 9th Anniversary of George’s passing. His music sounds better than ever. Put on your favorite George Album and have a listen today. The music will tell you why we love him so much. It’s strange how we are celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the release of one of the greatest albums of the 20th century-All Things Must Pass at the same point in time.
Has it raally been 9 years since we were deprived of the one there is no comparison in Harrison? Well, I’m down to say the least. But strange, the synchronicities I am noticing lately. My musician friends are trying hard to express themselves, my actor friends and I were talking about the necessity to have passion for one’s art and sitting in the cafe where the Doors recorded LA Woman, directly across the street is a billboard for the Fabs on I Tunes. In Hollywood, another Fab Beatles billboard. And even in this season where we lost my two fave fabs, Christmas to me is the Beatles. Having them smile down at us (actors, musicians) while we search for work, expression is like them saying: tomorrow never knows…nothing you can sing that can’t be sung…nothing that you can see, but you can learn to be you in time…But wah, wah, in reality, there’s nothing like the real thing….how I wish they were here for 2011
