Kit O’Toole, the author of  Songs We Were Singing: Guided Tours Through the Beatles’ Lesser-Known Tracks, is a Chicago-based freelance writer and blogger who has written about rock, jazz, and R&B for over 20 years. As a blogger, Kit writes for Something Else Reviews (including the popular column “Deep Beatles”), Blinded by Sound (including the column “Deep Soul”), and Cinema Sentries, and previously served as a music editor for Blogcritics. Kit is also a longtime contributing editor for Beatlefan magazine.
