A titan in the music industry, Peter Asher was one half of Peter and Gordon, who scored their first #1 hit with the Lennon/McCartney tune A World Without Love in 1964. Along with that smash, Asher and band-mate Gordon Waller had hits with songs such as I Go To Pieces and Nobody I Know. Peter went on to work as head of A & R at Apple Records, where he signed James Taylor. He went on to manage and/or produce Taylor, Linda Ronstadt, Carole King, Ringo, Bonnie Raitt, Diana Ross, and many others.
At the Fest, Peter will be joined by Albert Lee for special concerts! Part 1 of the concert will take place on Saturday and Part 2 will be on Sunday.
Peter will also be Guest heading the Musician’s Forum on Sunday. He will also be interview Klaus on stage at one of his two talks.
